3D Rendering modeled in SketchUp with V-Ray of the Main Dining Room.

Description:
A concept for a Japanese/Italian fusion restaurant called Furusato in downtown Toronto. Furusato translates to 'hometown' in Japanese. It's meaning is not the hometown you are from, but the hometown of one's heart. It's a deep feeling of belonging to a foreign place, a different or, even in a distant time.
This concept aims to evoke being lost somewhere between Milan and Kyoto as a traveler experiencing the best of both cultures. The Shoji screens and muralled wallpaper in the main dining room are complimented by Italian furniture from Mattiazi.
Seating capacity for 38 in the Main Dining Room, 21 in the Bar, 10 in the Private Dining Room, and 20 on the Patio. Strategically placed service stations allow discreet access to the kitchen and swift circulation to all tables.
